Executive Office Management

Charge:

Provide oversight and review of the activities of the Executive Office. Make recommendations regarding the Executive Office to the full Board.

Responsibilities:

  • Convene once per year at the site of the Executive Office to meet with Executive Office personnel, review office activities, and inspect documentation and facilities
  • Review Executive Office guidelines, policies and procedures, and make recommendations for changes and updates
  • Conduct an annual performance review of the Executive Director
  • Review and revise the Executive Director contract annually
  • Review and revise Executive Office contract with host institution as necessary
  • Act as the first point of contact for all administrative issues regarding the Executive Office
  • Recommend Executive Office funding strategies, including both long-range and short-range scenarios
  • Recommend any changes of responsibilities for the Executive Office and/or the Board of Directors with regards to the Executive Office
  • Deliver a full report of the Committee annually during the spring Board meeting
  • When directed by Board action, the Executive Office Management Committee shall act as a whole to be the “Interim Executive Director” should the CCUMC Executive Director position become vacant or the director is incapacitated. The Chair of the EOMC shall be the primary contact for Executive Office issues and the board member on the EOMC shall be secondary contact in the absence of the chair. The Chair will be bonded and designated to sign as “Interim Executive Director” when this clause has been implemented 

Chaired by the President-Elect, with two other members, one of which is a current member of the Board of Directors  and the other a representative from the general membership, appointed by the President for two-year, staggered terms.
