Responsibilities:
- ongoing planning of conference activities for the consortium;
- considering cultural diversity as it plans conference activities;
- arranging for and conducting the programs at regular meetings;
- reviewing site proposals and making recommendations concerning future conference sites to the executive committee or other subgroup of the board;
- presenting budgets for each conference and recommending conference fees to the board of directors;
- preparing a written, annual plan of work and budget for consideration by the board of directors;
- and preparing and mailing preliminary and final program information to members.
The Program Committee is co-chaired by the president-elect (one-year term) and the interest group coordinator (two-year term) and consists of at least three other members appointed by the president for two-year staggered terms and the following ex officio members: the president-elect designate, the AECT liaison, the Proceedings editor, and the Membership chair.
